  1. I am a celiac and a student studying to become a dietitian. I just have a couple points I want to mention because there is quite a bit of misinformation in this video. Although I love that you give food inspo and ideas for those who are GF, you should consider doing some more research. One thing, collagen actually IS a protein. When your body breaks down protein, it breaks it into amino acids, your body then uses those amino acids to build whichever proteins your body needs. So your body may or may not build collagen. Also, gluten is found in wheat, BARLEY AND RYE. Super important, this means you cannot consume barley, malt etc. Also, if you do not have celiac disease or a gluten intolerance there is no need for you to eat GF. You should always get tested before you cut our gluten to ensure you have a more accurate test. DO NOT SELF DIAGNOSE. As celiacs we have a very hard time avoiding cross contamination because people dont really understand how serious celiac disease is. Make sure to do your research and talk to your doctor. The gluten free diet will not help you lose weight, but it can contribute to nutrient deficiencies!! Its not trendy! Also many people think its easy to eat at restaurants if youre GF but if youre celiac it is horrible and extremely anxiety causing. Many people dont even realise there is a difference between how celiacs and people avoiding gluten have to eat

  2. for those who are going gluten free because it’s trendy:

think about it beforehand. this is not something you can decide lightly, or because you want to be caught up on the trends. denying your body gluten will not only take time to adjust to, but once your body adjust, you cannot go back to a regular diet. your body will reject the gluten and you will become very sick. you will not be diagnosed with celiacs disease but you will have to live your life like you have it.

do what you please, i’m just warning you. i was diagnosed with celiacs disease at a young age and it is horrible. sure some foods are great but imagine growing up and not being able to eat the cake at a birthday party, or be afraid to eat at a restaurant because your meal could be contaminated.

i am here to warn you, to advise you and give you my opinion on this and doing it because its trendy: don’t. if you want to eat healthier, yeah have at it, use some more almond flour here and there and all that, but still make sure to include gluten at least daily.

love and safety to all 🙂

  3. I have been gluten free for over 4 years now and I still hate going out to eat I know what you are saying about talking to your waiter but I guess I have anxiety about that because I hate having to talk to them about it so I've litterly have stressed myself out before going to a restaurant before hand to where I make myself not want to go but I am more recently getting better about it and if I am stressing about it I look up wherever I'm going menu before hand ❤️

  4. I am so grateful I just found your channel! I was legit praying to find a gluten-intolerant/gluten-free YouTuber after finding out gluten was causing all my health issues! You are my answered prayer!! Cannot wait to try some of these recipes and be on this journey of health. God bless you! ❤️

  5. So I have been having really really bad eczema break outs all over my body and it’s starting to get super embarrassing. So I talked to my doctor and they mentioned cutting out gluten and all honesty I’m terrified and am so unsure of what to eat or do. I just need something to guide me so thanks a bunch for that advice and I would so love more!!

  6. Why do we tolerate poisons beieng introduced in our food change. A lot of the toxins deliberately injected into our foods are banned, yes outlawed in other countries. Chemicals, pesticides and other toxins are designed to harm us and we can insist they be removed or better still refuse to purchase them. This is a good thing to rally about. Something that impacts the entire society.

  7. What a beautiful and helpful video! I also love sharing gluten free videos and yours was very inspiring! I also think just LISTENING to your body is KEY!

  8. I know this is an old video but I just wanted to say thank you for this information. I just found out that my 4 year old has a gluten allergy so of course I run to YouTubers to see what their eating looks like lol but seriously I felt like I was going to be so lost at feeding him. He is already an extremely picky eater. We now know why. ( everything was causing him pain and discomfort. Poor little guy). But you have helped me so much and I just wanna say Thank you. 🙏🏽🙏🏽😍😍

  9. I have thyroid disease and can’t eat gluten because it slows down the hormones from the thyroid gland in your brain to the gland in your body
