  1. This is not a sugar free recipe. Sugar is still sugar whether it has a fancy name (like coconut sugar or syrup) or not. Added sweeteners, even some naturally sugary ingredients like honey and dates, have more or less the same effect on the body whether it’s plain old cane sugar or not.

  2. These cookies look yummy but why do we Have to label them as "healthy?" I'm sorry but as a dietitian with patients who struggle every single day with food because they keep being told what is and what isnt healthy causes them to have a incredibly unhealthy relationship with food. Dairy is not "unhealthy." Gluten is not "unhealthy." Even Sugar, all forms of sugar, are not "unhealthy." Are they less nutrient dense than other foods? Yes but that doesnt mean that we have to demonize certain food groups as being healthy because whenever we eat a food labeled as "unhealthy" that makes us Feel like we are unhealthy people do are "messing up."

    Can we PLEASE take away the labels on foods??! I'm not trying to be negative here, I love Sarah's content and her recipes but it's just very frustrating as a health practitioner who specializes in nutrition to see people label foods like this…

  3. Coconut sugar= sugar
    Honey= sugar
    Rice syrup = sugar AND grains.
    Dark and milk chocolate= sugar and dairy
    I’m so confused! 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

    – "Adds honey, coconut sugar, rice syrup and chocolate".
    These are literally the same thing. I'm sorry to have to say that, but your diet is based on delusions. Just because something is more expensive or more exotic doesn't mean it's healthier.
