Thank you so much for this recipe. Bulgogi is my fave. And knowing now how easy it is to make and make as a quick meal. It’s perfect. Made it for lunch today and it was amazing. I used plum syrup instead of extract. And it worked perfectly. Thank you.
You said easy! I need to go to grocery store and make big investment in stuff I dont know if Ill like or not Cause all us Americans keep plum sauce, rice wine!
I just made this today! I used ground turkey instead and I didn't have plum extract so I used hoisin sauce instead. It came out great!! We ate it with lettuce and rice.
Putting everything in together is an amazing idea, other Bulgogi vids have everything going in at stages, so this was quick and easy, very tasty recipe, empty plates all round 👍😊
I been making this for years n great….ur recipe seems much faster to make though n I use brown sugar instead of regular sugar……. never tried that plum extract though
Tried this last night, and it is indeed delicious. Followed the recipe to a 'T'. Results were really good. One thing I added to top off the dish was sprouts used as granish, it's quite interesting and give extra body to the dish since it's a whole different texture when eating it with the rice and bulgogi.
Just made this today for lunch. Yummm!!! Perfect! Exactly the taste I've been trying to get in bulgogi and just couldn't till your recipe. I'm learning at lot from you and the best part, it's easy to follow and doesn't have hard to get ingredients. My next recipe to try is your Filipino Adobe. Thanks for sharing! Love your channel.
Been making all the different Bulgari recipes I can find with my Korean sister in law. Just trying different ones out to see how they taste. Let me preface the rest of this comment by stating that before becoming Mr. Mom, I was a chef. We tried all of our recipes head to head. One of us using a wok, and one of us using a pan. This recipe by far turned out the worst of any we've made so far. Frankly I've had plain hamburger with Bulgari sauce on top that tasted better. Both batches went in the trash and we ordered pizza.

What can substitute the plum extract?
is there another sub for the plum extract? would a plum sauce work?
My Dear, is there a sub for the mirin wine? Seems like a small amount to make a difference, especially with all that garlic.
